A lot of the time their nervousness is caused by other ignorant drivers who own the road and think the horn is for making people aware of their ownership. Lack of courtesy is as much to blame as timidity when it comes to filtering. So here’s a video of how it should be done.

For me one of the most irritating things when driving is being in front of some tosser who beeps you for driving carefully or as he sees it, being too slow.
Or when I’m cycling there’s always some idiot of a motorist who thinks he has more right to the road than I have.
Aye… the lot of them need their horns removed !
