Pot Luck Paint

indulgeCans.gifI went to Bangor after work today to collect the new washing machine and dryer. Had to wait until then so I could have help to unload it when I got home. Got to the shop to find they close early Monday and Tuesday. Missed them by 10 minutes. I doubt very much if they would have wanted to stay open to accommodate the loading of stuff into a van even if I’d arrived 5 minutes before closing time… well not unless their sales commission is better than average. I’ve never come across the bend over backwards attitude in any of those electrical chain stores as of yet.

So while I was that length, I had a wander around the shop next door and bought some paint in the sale. Not so sure that pink and purple will be easy to live with but at least it’ll cover the patchy walls with something new and fresh and not have cost a fortune if I decide I dont like it in a couple of months. May be too dark for the size of room. I’ll know better in daylight. Did one wall tonight as a tester.

Tomorrow is another day and so is the one after that.

If the place is a rental you could try painting the entire interior black and then demanding a cut-rate because it’s too depressing.

There was some black on the same shelf… I actually fondled the tin and pondered the firebreast but didn’t get that overwhelming urge to buy it.

You need to get out more… fondling tins in hardware stores at your age… tsk .. you ought to be ashamed of yourself.. and in broad daylight to.. no wonder the neighbours set their dog on you…. !!!!!
