130 metres fabric, 1 monks bench (someones homemade effort), 2 staplers, 1 nail gun, 1 compressor, 1 pasta maker, 400 metres piping cord, 1 desk, 1 5pk of air tools and 1 jump start/compressor unit for the van.

No idea what a monk's bench looks like. Is that like a trestle table? (Top, with two solid ends connected by a rail underneath.) I made a woodworker's bench with throwaway scraps from the lumber mill. I just laminated six pieces at a time and ran the entire slab through a monster-sized industrial planer after conditioning a few weeks. Heavy as a slab of granite! (Hard maple.)
Good to hear from you again!

Monks bench is probably exagerating what I actually got... more like a home made storage pew. I wanted it to keep logs in without piling them up beside the stove. A real monks bench has storage under the seat and the back converts to a table. The oak ones sell for a few hundred quid and much as I'd like one, I couldn't stretch the cash that far.

I went to Harry Corry's yesterday and the ready-made curtains in the size I wanted they didn't have in stock. I was thinking of ordering some curtains from you, but|I wouldn't like to encourage you and finance more spending on Ebay :-)

Did you hear the one about the man they found with a curtain pole through his chest? He committed Harry Corry...

While it's very kind of you not to finance my new habit, I would of course be very happy to help you out with any difficult sizing or adjustments since I'm much more professional than factory sloppy made brands! If cheap is what you prefer then cheap is what you deserve! :p

Hope you're settling in.
