A talented artist, my friend Alison has started her own web site at Alison Hill Fine Art. She also has a page on myspace with a few extra bits and pieces not available on the main web site.

Spencer Tunick hits the news again with another “installation” in Venezuela. The headline reads, Venezuelans pose nude before hero but the hero is not Spencer Tunick, it’s Simon Bolivar in the form of a statue, a national symbol of Venezuelan independance.
While the addition of naked people may make an otherwise ordinary photograph more interesting, I find the sight of naked bodies lying in the aisles of shops and streets of cities, inspires thoughts of hollocaust, mass genocide, or just sausages in a butchers window. They don’t do much for me. The more rural scenes in Nevada and New Mexico I find marginally more acceptable…
